Blindcap is the first wareable device specially designed for professional blind swimmers. Nowadays, and following on from a long tradition, blind swimmers are aware that they are approaching the edge of the pool because their coach bumps either their head or back with a stick with a sponge attached at its end. This is an old-fashioned system that could be improved thanks to new technologies.
